50 Cent’s New TV Show, Tomorrow, Today, Threatened With Lawsuit

50 Cent’s new Starz superhero series “Tomorrow, Today” may now never see the light of day, as the channel was recently threatened with a lawsuit if production up the upcoming show is not halted immediately.

According to a report from celebrity news outlet TMZ, JourStarr Publications sent a letter claiming that the premise of “Tomorrow, Today” is a blatant plagiarization of author Anthony Baltimore’s novel, Othello Greene: The Story Begins.

Rapper 50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson, has already replied to the allegations and has denied the claims through statements from his attorney.

“Mr. Jackson has neither met the author, heard of nor read this book,” said 50 Cent’s attorney in a statement regarding the allegations.

“Tomorrow, Today” is apparently based on a screenplay from Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson in which a military veteran living on Chicago’s south side is falsely imprisoned and then becomes the victim of an insane prison doctor’s science experiments, giving him some kind of special powers. The imprisoned man then somehow escapes, and finds a way to use his newfound abilities for good.

According to the report, JourStarr Publications, the company representing Anthony Baltimore’s book, stated that they will give Starz ten days to halt production on the show before they file a lawsuit.
