Tyga Teams Up With Designer Daniel Patrick To Creats New Collection

Streetwear designer Daniel Patrick has apparently recruited Tyga as a collaborator to create an upcoming capsule collection, to be released this month.

The rapper is one of the designers behind the upcoming collection, called the “Daniel Patrick x T-Raww” collection. The line includes eight different pieces of clothing, including an oversized t-shirt, a hoodie, a pair of skinny jeans, and a hoodie.

“We wanted to do something minimal and clean and maybe not what [Tyga} is regularly known for,” Patick explains, “and because my aesthetic is minimal and clean, we wanted to stick to that theme.”

Daniel Patrick told fashion publication Women’s Wear Daily that the “sleek” pieces will range from $110 to $600.

The interesting and unlikely collaboration came to fruition after the designer saw the rapper wearing some of his clothing during the New York Fashion Week last year. Patrick reached out to Tyga via an Instagram direct message, asking whether the rapper might be interested in collaborating.

Tyga obviously jumped at the chance, and now the partners will be launching the new collection during a release party on September 22 on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles.

Pieces from the collection will be sold exclusively through Daniel Patrick outlets, as well as on the designer’s official website.
